For our client, Roots Commodities, a dynamically growing Egyptian trading company that has specialized in the sale and processing of grains, legumes, as well as fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices since 2012, we are looking for an engaged Sales Manager who will play a key role in developing Roots Commodities’ business in Poland.
The company currently operates the first private grain terminal in Egypt, handling one million tons of grain and legumes annually, which continually strengthens its position as a regional leader. The company’s headquarters are located in Cairo, with operations extending to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and MENA (Middle East and North Africa).
Roots Commodities employs over 600 people and is constantly seeking new growth opportunities, including in the European market, specifically through its Polish subsidiary, Domenica.
SALES MANAGER
📌 Scope of Operations: All of Poland
📌 Location: Poland
📌 Work Model: Remote/Mobile
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Acquiring new clients and building long-term business relationships
• Promoting and selling products, particularly citrus fruits and vegetables
• Market analysis and identification of new business opportunities
• Close collaboration with the logistics department to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Monitoring competitors and adjusting sales strategies
• Participating in industry fairs and other events to promote the company
• Reporting activities, preparing reports, and conducting internal analyses
Main Client Industries: Wholesale food distributors, supermarkets, and retail chains in Poland and nearby countries.
EMPLOYER REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales within the retail or food industry in fresh fruits and vegetables (must have)
• Ability to acquire new clients from retail chains and build lasting relationships
• Excellent skills in conducting meetings, presentations, and negotiations
• Proficiency in English, at least B1/B2 level
• Communicativeness, commitment, and proactive approach to work
• Ability to analyze data and trends for strategic purposes
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and readiness to contribute to and grow with the company
